From my blogger bar I randomly clicked and
found these two similar looking blogs that
apparently contain just lists and lists of
pages that seem to have been lifted from a
search engine page.
One concerns acne and the other perfume.
All the posts have been posted today.
I wonder what is going on here.
Some kind of experiment?
Do any of you blogging aficionados have the answer?

Some folks do nothing but links in their blogs. They use it more like a place to store bookmarks on a particular topic.

They are pretend blogs created automatically to increase the google rank of the sites that they link to. Each of the blog entries links to the same site.
I think that google is clever enough to realise what is going on, or at least, let it have little bearing on the google page rank of the sites in question, but I am not sure.
I don't have a "search API key" which is some sort of password needed to check Google rank but the site linked from the perfume "blog" is not in the top 200 sites at Yahoo, Msn search, or Ask according to
